Large axe for competitions and felling work. The head design was inspired by Australian racing-pattern axes—polished and heavy with a convex cutting edge. The long, curved handle made of American hickory provides maximum speed and power when felling trees. The axe is hand-forged from high-quality Swedish steel and manufactured in the forge at Hults Bruk. Our forging tradition dates back to 1697, and the steel head is hammered more than 60 times to increase the density and durability of the head. With proper care, this axe will be a faithful companion for many years.
