9463 ProtecWork, Boxer Shorts
When working in hazardous environments, it is important to build up flame-retardant protective clothing starting with the innermost layer, directly against the skin. Comfortable boxer shorts made of soft, comfortable material—an excellent alternative for anyone who doesn’t like wearing wool directly against the skin. Ideal as a base layer for protective clothing with basic heat and flame protection. There is no arc flash certification for garments with short legs or sleeves. For work in environments with potential electric arcs, it is additionally recommended to wear Model 9460 with long pant legs. The fabric has an arc resistance rating of up to EBT50, 3.4 cal/cm²2.
